Seeing Red

According to Psychology Today, women find men who wear red more appealing. Who knew? So all you men looking for a date, perhaps you'd have better luck when wearing red. It never hurts to try.

Pre Summer School

Summer classes start tomorrow. I'm all ready to go.

The alarm clock is set, notebook and pen have been selected. Text books have been picked up (They are on the kitchen counter). Clothes have been laid out (Down to my socks) and my make-up has been located.

Funny thing about my make up... I have this huge, huge(!!!) box of make-up, and then another draw full, but I don't really ware make-up. One of these days I'll go through it and get rid of all the make-up I don't need or has gone bad.

Listening to Hamish and Andy via iTunes. Probably why I haven't gone to bed yet. They are quite entertaining.

Nothing much to say tonight (Not that I have much to say any night but I was bored).

Exactly

I wish I had something intersesting to post, but no. I lead a boring life. Which is good I suppose, however it doesn't make for good reading material.

I do like lists however,

10 days till Pillip's birthday
9 books that need to be reshelved in my room
8 minutes till 11
7 days till Mr. B's party
6 text messages
5 golden rings
4 dead squirrels I saw friday
3 days till friends are over
2 books due at the library
1 sleepy writter

Observations

I'm sitting in the student lounge of the Political Science building. It's a quit zone so all I hear are the sounds of turning pages, the clicking of keyboards (mine included), and the opening and closing of zippers. In an odd way, it's actually kinda soothing.

What's I find fascinating about this lounge though is the seating arrangements. The room is divided into three parts. At the front there are four sofas and eight arm chairs that are divided into two different squares. Then along the back are four tables with four chairs apiece.

As the students file in they generally go to one of the squares in the front. If the first student goes to the left square, the next will go the right square. They also then sit with a chair between each of them. There is not a single student in the room who is sitting in a seat that is next to another student.

As of ten minutes ago, the only seats in the front sections are the ones directly next to someone. Since then, students have poked their head in and either taken an alternating seat at one of the tables in the back or turned around and left.

Personally, I think this is an interesting phenomena. It's what my sister's science teacher, Mr. Swope, calls Men's bathroom etiquette.

More to depression then just chemicals

According to Psychology today, depression is not just caused by a chemical imbalance, as was previously thought.

"The newest evidence indicates that recurrening depression is in fact a neurodegenerative disorder, disrupting the structure and function of brain cells."

A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes

But what if you don't dream at all...?
